Projest, with registered office at via Valentini 14, 59100, Prato, acting as Data Controller, is committed to protecting the confidentiality of your personal data and to guaranteeing the necessary protection from whatever may put it at risk of breach.

With this document Projest wishes to make public how its website is handled in relation to the processing and protection of the personal data of subjects who navigate in it and interact with it and with the various services offered through it.

 

How data is collected and processed by Projest

As Data Controller, Projest collects and/or receives information about you, such as: IP address, identification personal data (first name, last name, email address, phone number, professional role) given when navigating the site www.projest.com

This information is required by the Data Controller for managing the website and for responding to requests for information, also of a commercial nature, when consent is provided. Refusal to provide personal data makes it impossible for the Data Controller to manage and reply to communications or requests for information.

Personal data is communicated mainly to third parties and/or recipients in order to perform the activities necessary to fulfil the aforementioned purposes, and to meet certain legal requirements. Communications that may not be for those purposes shall be subject to your prior consent.

Your personal data shall not in any way be distributed or disclosed to undetermined subjects and shall not be transferred to countries outside the EU.

 

How we use your personal information

Projest may process your personal information:

1- to reply to requests for information

Personal data is processed in order to follow up a request sent by the form available on the website and to provide a reply to it.

2- for sales promotion

Personal data is used to send marketing and commercial communications relating to the initiatives, services and products offered by Projest.

For this purpose data (such as, first name, last name, email address, telephone number) is processed by:

  • e-mail;
  • telephone;
  • postal mail.

This processing may occur if:

  1. consent to use the data is given, also with reference to the method of communication, whether traditional or automated, by which it is processed;
  2. there is no objection to use of the data.

 

Denial of consent

Processing of personal data is necessary to address enquiries made through the “Contact Us” form.  Failure to provide consent makes it impossible to fulfill your request.

 

Consent to processing for marketing purposes (direct, research and market surveys)

Should consent to process personal data not be given for these purposes, this will not have effect on processing of data for the main purposes, nor for others for which you have given consent.

You may at any time withdraw consent to the processing of your data for marketing purposes without this implying any adverse effects.

 

Data retention

Data is processed and stored at the Data Controller’s premises and by companies contracted to perform data processing and development activities in countries inside the EU.

Data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information is processed up to a maximum of 2 years from communication of the data by the individual concerned, unless events occur that involve the intervention of the competent authorities, also including interactions with third parties/recipients appointed with protection of the Data Controller’s data, in which case for as long as necessary to carry out any investigations into the causes that have led to the event.

 

Users’ rights

In line with the limits, and particularly the time limits, established for processing personal data, users may have control of their data and at any time exercise the following rights:

  • request access to data held by the Data Controller;
  • request to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected/updated;
  • request to have data deleted;
  • request to have processing restricted;
  • object to data being used;
  • request direct transmission of personal data from one data controller to another (the right to data portability).

These rights are guaranteed without charges and any special formalities to request that they be exercised which is granted free of charge.

Complaints

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial procedures, in the event users consider the processing of personal information not to be compliant with the applicable data protection laws, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
